The Bethel Park Community
Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that embraces a
philosophy of local philanthropy. Tax-deductible
contributions made to the BPCF are applied to fund local
life-quality initiatives as determined through our grant
application process. Our scope embraces donors from all
economic levels, from both within and beyond the boundaries
of the Bethel Park community. Established in accordance with
these parameters and staffed exclusively by volunteers, the
BPCF elected to concentrate our activities in the following
four principal areas of enrichment:
-
Community facilities
-
Opportunities in education for citizens
of all ages
-
Expanded recreational and leisure time
activities
-
Increase exposure to the fine and
performing arts
What began as an idealistic
hope in 1994, has evolved into an active Foundation that
continues to touch the lives of nearly every Bethel Park
resident and visitor. None of this would be possible without
the generous support of the Bethel Park Community. |
Stewardship of the funds is a priority for
all 31 Foundation trustees who review and discuss every
grant that comes before the Foundation. From 2004 to 2006,
